The Village of Serravalle
Nestled at the foot of the Treviso Prealps, Serravalle is the historical and artistic heart of Vittorio Veneto. A fortified village of medieval origin, it still preserves the elegance of the Venetian loggias, the noble residences and the silence of the cobbled streets that climb towards the hill. Piazza Flaminio, with its Renaissance frescoes and buildings sculpted by time, tells a story of merchants, humanism and devotion. Walking in Serravalle is like walking through an illustrated book: every stone tells a story, every corner holds a fragment of eternity.
The Castrum
Situated at the highest point of the village, the Castrum of Serravalle has been the defensive and political hub of the territory since the Middle Ages. Built as a Lombard garrison and transformed into a noble castle by the Da Camino family, the Castrum dominates the valley with its discreet grandeur. Today, although transformed, it preserves its ancient soul intact: thick walls, views of the Meschio river, a silence that smells of stone and memory. It is here, between these centuries-old walls, that Domus Serravalle was born — an invitation to rediscover the slow pace of history and beauty.
